I've taken everyone in my family to come and try the famous back 9. Speaking of menu This is by far one of my favorite sushi places. lopabe, docov, qemey The drinks are creative, so try anything on the menu. I've eaten here several times and the food never disappoints. They bring the vibe and they crush the drink orders The food here is bomb!! The wait staff is friendly and helpful. I have a few to mention here sorry if I leave anyone out. there are so many different fun rolls you can order, and i love the names they use.It's a great time and it's not just the food, it's the staff. I got to try the Back 9 roll, the avocado bomb, as well as the Shrimp Tempura roll. The spicy edamame was delicious! It comes in some sort of garlic chili sauce.dip that in a little bit of soy sauce and it was perfect. The Sangria was beautifully dressed with little flowers and you could taste and smell that with every sip. The Betty Boop was the perfect amount of fruity with a hint of vanilla in it that really brought it together. Bartender Nirvana was awesome and knew just what we needed! We got to try the Betty Boop drink as well as the Fuji Sangria. fun art on the walls and very odd but good music videos playing - it was such a great environment. i have been wanting to come and check this place out for a while and am so glad i did. What a beautiful and fun establishment! Located on the second floor of the star by the elevators in case you are having trouble finding it. Maybe delivery/take out will be a different story but until we meet again I love you Sushi Marquee but i just cannot. Please take a moment to close and properly train your staff and get a better plan of execution. I was informed that she was entering total bill amounts as her tips instead of the tip amount because that's what she did at her last job- WTF?! how many other people did she do this to? Did you not get trained on the system? I recommend Sushi to literally everyone i know because it is THAT good but this new found quality of service is not. Around closing time i get a notification from my bank that the bartender has added some extra tip for herself!!!! More than two times the amount of what i actually tipped. I informed her we were not drinking but just getting something to eat and she said that didn't matter. With out so much as a "hello" another new bartender demanded our identification to be able to sit at the bar. On another occasion a friend and i decided to grab a bite to eat at the bar. We tried to flag down a server who said she would try to get someone. (3 total failed attempts at 3 different restaurants) It is really sad and hard times in the service industry right now. This was actually our second failed attempt to dine somewhere that evening. Obviously short staffed, we sat at a table for roughly 25-30 minutes trying to get some food.
Maybe you should not be behind the bar sir. When a "bartender" on a mediocre Friday night tells you he can't handle people walking up to the bar to place orders you should be getting signs there is an issue.
The bartenders are in a constant new rotation and the quality of service is going down hill every time i go and it is just not the same any more. Oh my beloved sushi, i think it is time we part ways.
